Upgrading Your Belief System To One That Serves You

Uncovering Our Belief Systems.

Each of us holds certain belief systems that stem from how we were raised and our past experiences.

Just because those beliefs are what we’re used to, doesn’t mean they are helping us reach our goals in life.

For us to change our belief systems, we must identify the negative beliefs we have and begin the process of shifting our perspective on these thoughts.

The simplest definition of a belief system is a thought that your brain thinks over and over again until it registers it to be true.

When we carry beliefs that aren’t serving us, they negatively impact many aspects of our lives. They can impede our personal goals and connections.

Concept of Bridge Thoughts.

So you’ve identified your negative belief systems, now what?

Start by picturing a bridge, when you picture that bridge you should see two sides.

We’re starting on one side where we have our negative belief systems. These are the beliefs where we doubt ourselves and our capabilities.

The other side of the bridge is where you want to be, there lies the ultimate belief system you want to have and truly connect with.

The journey to get to that other side is done by slowly shifting your current thoughts into positive ones that better serve you.

These are what's called bridge thoughts.

These thoughts have to be authentic to you and your emotions or the process won’t work.

In this FREE 3 day training, I will share with you exactly how I went FROM: insecure, 'fake it until I make it' mentality, and very lost in my relationship TO: crushing my goals, feeling in control of my emotions, totally empowered to go after what I want, and to being in a truly secure and satisfying relationship.

Tips for identifying bridge thoughts:

  • Write down your limiting beliefs and write down the beliefs you want to get to. From there, start small by shifting your negative thoughts into more positive renditions that move you closer to the belief you want to have.

  • Stop focusing on everything you don’t have and see how much easier it is to generate positive bridge thoughts.

Walking On A Shaky Bridge.

Doubts, fears, and insecurities are normal emotions we all face, so don’t get discouraged by a temporary setback.

Some bad days hit us harder than others.

Much like everything else in life, we can’t control when these emotional storms are going to hit us or how deeply they will affect us.

What we can control is how we choose to move past them. Our belief systems are going to be challenged at times, and acknowledging this will help you better weather the storms when they come.

Get curious as to why you are feeling self-doubt and insecurities. Identify and work on eliminating the negativity that's stopping you from moving forward.

When the storm has passed, you can revisit the progress you made with your bridge thoughts and continue where you left off to get you back on track to reach your ideal belief system.
