How to retrain your brain and manage unwanted thoughts.
Start retraining your brain and learning how to speak to yourself in a way that serves you. Get in alignment with who you truly are. When you start doing that work and getting in that mindset, you will have fewer negative thoughts and you'll be less likely to believe it.
The only problem with unwanted thoughts is you believing them and thinking that they're real and true. It's really simple but it takes time to learn how to manage negative thoughts and stop them from spiraling into anxiety and anger. It's hard to get yourself out of that when you sink yourself in that deeply.
When you begin to spin, catch it and use your awareness to stop it. Start being observant of your mind and your thoughts! That's what I connect with to help guide me in the right direction rather than my negative thoughts guiding me in the opposite.
In this FREE 3 day training, I will share with you exactly how I went FROM: insecure, 'fake it until I make it' mentality, and very lost in my relationship TO: crushing my goals, feeling in control of my emotions, totally empowered to go after what I want, and to being in a truly secure and satisfying relationship.
We choose to decide if our thoughts are true or not.
It is completely okay to have negative thoughts, you just have to learn how to not believe them. Whenever I have a really bad thought about myself, I see it right away and I know it's a choice to believe it. So many of us look at all our thoughts as facts. If you think you're not doing good enough or you're not doing something right, your brain is going to register that it's a fact.
If it's not something you truly want to believe about yourself, call to mind that you are not defined by your thoughts and you get to choose what to focus on. Don't be mad at yourself for having negative thoughts. Instead, be curious about it and investigate it. Step into awareness!
Become the watcher of your mind and see where that thought stemmed from. Maybe somebody told you something or maybe it's coming from a past experience. There is a reason why you are telling yourself that your negative things are true, so dive deep and find the reason behind that. You have the power to dissect your thoughts and choose which ones feel good and which ones don't.
What awareness feels like.
If you feel like you're aware but you are still being self-critical, you're not in the full loving awareness stage. When I’m in awareness, I feel connected to my best and higher self. I feel like I’m connected to God at that moment and it's just all a pure positive universal energy. The voice is loving and kind when you're fully in awareness.
To get into that state, recognize the thoughts and what they are saying, then the “watcher” will come in and tell you it's okay to have this thought. Give yourself permission to have the negative unwanted thought and know you can't fight it BUT you can change it. Acknowledge the thought and allow it to be there. When you can manage your mind like this, you'll choose what brings you joy and helps you feel more fulfilled.
