Finding Your Way Back to Who You Really Are

How previous situations grow into your adulthood.

So often things that took place when we were children can manifest in different ways later on in our adulthood. For example, if you had a childhood experience where you grew up in an alcoholic household, you can start to hate yourself when you fall into those same patterns. We have to understand that all of our emotions and feelings towards ourselves are coming from somewhere. They don’t just happen on their own, there is always an underlying trigger. 

I believe it is our life mission to CONSTANTLY be working on finding our way back to our worth and how God made us. You are not the person you see yourself as, the things that happened in the past do not define you!. 

We have to do the work to remember we're worthy, to remember we're deserving, to unlearn everything negative we've soaked up from our childhood. 

Throw away any beliefs that do not serve you because they are sabotaging you and making you spin in the wrong direction. Allow yourself to go through an unlearning phase and get curious about why you're stuck so you can move forward!

  • Pay attention to the way you think.

  • Pay attention to the way you feel and behave. 

  • Check-in with your energy. 

  • Examine how you treat yourself every day. 

Learning to trust yourself and feeling worthy starts with you and nobody else. Your beliefs are going to follow you and if you're bringing negativity and your insecurities into every scenario, that's going to reflect in your journey. 

We are constantly riding the waves of life, and the beliefs from the past are always going to come up but when you finally become okay with that, you realize you won't be stuck in this mindset forever. Once you become more aware of your thoughts, you’ll find yourself one step closer to reclaiming your worth and trusting yourself.
