It’s your choice to believe what you want to believe.
You know those negative thoughts that sometimes come up about your significant other? Do you really want to believe those?
I DOUBT it!
Why would you want to believe negative painful things about the person you chose to spend the rest of your life with. You have to give yourself the opportunity to tell a different story, to believe the more positive thoughts, and to rewrite your story.
You have to get the words out to change your story. Write in a journal what you want to believe about your partner and what you want to happen because the more you tell yourself it, the more it becomes true. The perception you have on the person you love is built by you and only you.
In this FREE 3 day training, I will share with you exactly how I went FROM: insecure, 'fake it until I make it' mentality, and very lost in my relationship TO: crushing my goals, feeling in control of my emotions, totally empowered to go after what I want, and to being in a truly secure and satisfying relationship.
What happens when you love your partner more.
Ever since me and my husband have been practicing this work, we get to come together in a completely different way. We are SO much more patient with each other and so much more silly.
Our communication has improved and we know how to let things go. (That was a BIG one)...
You HAVE to learn how to let sh*t go! Think about how many times you've gotten into a fight with your partner over the smallest thing ever and you both sit on it for days. Next time that happens, think if it's really worth it because the bottom line is, it's probably not.
When you love them more and follow these steps, you'll judge yourself less, feel less resentment and frustrations, and allow yourself to be happy. As you watch your story change, it allows you to communicate it so much more calmly, clearly, and lovingly to your partner.
Exercise to love your partner more.
I like to call this the appreciation of love rampage.
A love rampage is one where you sit down and start writing all the things you like, love, and appreciate about your significant other.
Think about what about them brings you joy, makes you laugh, and makes you smile. This might be a little hard if you're struggling to love your partner more but just ease into it and reconnect with the things you fell in love with at the beginning of your relationship.
Respect the journey!
Force yourself to lean into appreciation because it gets easier and easier after that. Get your thoughts out on paper instead of creating an unnecessary situation in your relationship.
