The Power Decisions Hold Over Our Life, Relationships, and More

Exercise to stop being indecisive and struggling with decisions.

If you label yourself as indecisive, I want you to change that.

How can you reframe this idea of yourself?

I used to be an indecisive person and that served me because it made me realize how much I want to be a decisive person.

Here’s a statement to repeat as an exercise: I am getting better and better at making big and small decisions. I am getting better all the time and I make decisions that best serve me in my life. I am getting better at listening to the best parts of me and making decisions from a better place. I am capable of making decisions and I do know the answers, it just takes a bit of time to get there but I know the best decision for myself.

When I started stepping into this mindset and telling myself this daily, I got better at making decisions for myself.

This exercise and these words help change the way you speak to yourself.

Stop putting yourself in a box as an “indecisive person” and instead trust yourself and change the way you make decisions. Answers are ALWAYS coming to you, you just have to believe yourself.

It is SUPER important to change the way you speak to yourself especially if it's something you want to change or work on.

I want you all to think about the last decision you made and connect it to the goals you have in life.

Now ask yourself, is that a decision that's going to help you get to where you want to go?

If you answered no, lovingly see that, step into curiosity, and learn from it. Don’t beat yourself up over it and instead look at what you want to work on every day. Think about your goals and if your daily decisions are reflecting that.

Another step you can take is the Mel Robbins Five Second Rule, which is when you say your decision in your head, count down fast from five four three two one, and then get up and go do the thing you want to do.

In this FREE 3 day training, I will share with you exactly how I went FROM: insecure, 'fake it until I make it' mentality, and very lost in my relationship TO: crushing my goals, feeling in control of my emotions, totally empowered to go after what I want, and to being in a truly secure and satisfying relationship.

Making big decisions and investments.

What was the last REALLY big decision you made in your life?

Maybe it was getting married, maybe it was moving to a different city, or maybe it was changing your career. Whatever it was, think about what it felt like to make that decision. Maybe you felt secure or maybe you felt totally stressed.

Sometimes there's a mix of every emotion in those big decisions but at the end of the day, those decisions are better made from a place of clarity.

When you're in the process of making a big decision, I want you to take a step back, give yourself a moment, and check-in with your emotional state.

Always give yourself permission to not jump into a big decision. Give yourself time to think and most importantly, TRUST yourself. The more you lean into trust, the better decision-maker you are.

All answers come with clarity.

Decision-making is all about leaning into trust and not feeling too stressed and overwhelmed.

Dealing with decisions that you have not made yet.

Think about a decision you're in the process of making or haven't made quite yet.

Is it signing up for the gym? Is it having a discussion with a partner? Is it hiring a coach? When you have the decision in your head, this is what I want you to do…

  • Write down the thing you want to do.

  • List all the reasons you want to do it.

  • Decide if you like all your reasons.

Your reasons should come from a place of love, excitement, and drive. Feel all of the positive emotions that come with your decisions and if there aren't any, maybe that's not the right decision.

If you like your reasons, take that next step. Don’t let fear play a role in your decision-making process. It's all up to you!
