Part 2: Self Image and Confronting The Relationship With Yourself

Only you can decide what you want to believe about yourself.

You have to realize that only you get to believe whatever you want about yourself. Write down those things and figure out why you want to believe that about yourself. Why do you want to believe you're smart? Why do you want to believe you're beautiful? Why do you want to believe you're driven? Why do you want to believe you're compassionate? Why do you want to believe you're an entrepreneur? Why do you want to believe you're sexy? Anything it is! Ask yourself why and make sure you like your reasons. An example that I could think of would be that I want to be a good churchgoing girl. When I think of why I could say it’s because it would make my parents happy but I don't like that reason. I don't want to just go to church to please my parents. I am okay with knowing how much of an amazing connection I have with God even though I am not always a churchgoing girl. These types of things are going to come up when you write down what you believe about yourself. You have to think if it's coming from a place truly within you and not from somebody else. Sometimes we lie to ourselves, so remember you get to believe whatever you want about yourself so make it feel good and amazing.

In this FREE 3 day training, I will share with you exactly how I went FROM: insecure, 'fake it until I make it' mentality, and very lost in my relationship TO: crushing my goals, feeling in control of my emotions, totally empowered to go after what I want, and to being in a truly secure and satisfying relationship.

Overcoming your primal primitive brain to change your thought process.

We have to overcome our primal primitive caveman brain in order to change any part of our thought process. Our primitive (caveman) brain seeks danger and worry because it wants to protect itself from a potential threat. Your higher brain is what comes in and questions that thought and has the ability to plan for the future. You can overcome the instinctive, primitive brain and a good place to start is by getting curious of your thoughts and intentionally practicing better thoughts that don't cause the overwhelm, the stress, the insecurity, the doubt, and the fear.

You Embody Your Most Practiced Thoughts.

The way you think about yourself, how you view your self-image, whether they are thoughts that serve you or not, you can start to embody those thoughts because they are practiced so much. So, what do you want to embody, positive or negative thoughts?

The first exercise to embody positive thoughts is looking in the mirror and knowing that you are so much more than your body and your looks. I want you guys to disassociate beauty standards from your body. I try and do that exercise very often, but I get it, it doesn't always work. I slip into old patterns at times when I see gorgeous models and feel bad about myself, the difference now is that I notice it and know that I don't have to feel this way. I have the power to change my beliefs about how I look and even of what beauty is to me.

This work will help you see that you're human and you can refuse to hate yourself. You are not arrogant or conceited if you love yourself. Be that bright light because that energy is contagious. When you love yourself you can help others that haven't found that for themselves yet.
