Do you know why you won’t stick to any of your goals.
You’re not taking Massive Action
You may be thinking that Massive Action is this ONE HUGE DECISION, ONE BIG ACTION. Well, that is not it at all.
Massive Action is a ton of little decisions, minor actions, small steps that when done consistently add up to achieving your goal.
It is also when none of those small things seem to be working and you just keep trying other small things until finally something clicks.
See, this is where most of us fall off, give up and make it mean it just isn't possible for us.
You have to be willing to fail, fail and fail again.
Our failures are when we learn. It doesn't mean our goals won't work out. It means you are filtering out all the things that don’t work so you can find the thing that does work.
There is no right way to achieve your goal. The only difference from those who make and this who don’t is Massive Action.
But, we don’t view it that way. We give up the moment that specific way doesn’t work for us. When we try what that ‘successful person’ did and we fail, we quit. “I’m just not like them, I can’t do it”.
What if you didn’t? What if you tried 100 more times, failed every one of those, but then on the 101th try...IT WORKED. You lost the weight, you started the business, you met the love of your life, you got the job, you learned the language, you had a baby, you wrote a book, started a podcast, found exercise you enjoy, the list goes on.
Would it be worth it to you then? If you knew you had to try 100 different ways to get to your goal but on the 101 th try you got it! Are you willing to fail that many times?
You have to be willing to fail, to feel negative emotions, to try and try and try again, to never give up.
If you are not willing to feel failure you will never achieve your goals. Sounds harsh?
Well, it is the truth.
So, who wants to fail the crap out of some goals with me (and then get back up and go at it again)?
With love,
Emily Elizabeth
